Modern crochet patterns and techniques
In last decade, crochet world has entered a new era. It is not about just “granny squares” any more. New techniques and methods are popping up every year. And overlay crochet is something that has been born recently as well.
Overlay crochet was developed by an artist and jewellery maker Melody MacDuffee in the United States and first introduced around 2003. Melody started to spread her inventions and conducted lots of workshops for hundreds of crochet lovers. She also published a few patterns in the books and magazines, and over the time overlay crochet was picked up by other crafters and designers.
Overlay Crochet Masterclass gives an introduction into this amazing technique with explanations of how to use it for creation of different effects.
The instructions contain three patterns: Bloomy Wheel Mandala (classic overlay crochet), Sea Tiles Blanket (false brioche crochet) and Purple Fade Shawl (overlay mosaic crochet).
An e-book comes in English language with standard US crochet terms. You will receive two copies. One is full of progress pictures, and another one is for print with text only.
